About to walk into a seedy London pub and with zero knowledge of man’s man drinks? Fear not. Here are 3 pints you can order without worrying if the locals are going chuck darts in your direction.
SNAKE BITE: Made with 1 part cider (alcoholic apple juice) and 1 part lager. Prove your knowledge by asking the barkeep if he (or she) is going to add a dash of blackcurrant cordial, "black". It's a custom in some areas. FYI...has a very sharp taste, hence the name.
DARK and SMOOTH: Guinness beer mixed with Port wine. A bit on the strong side. Good order for top of the line bars as well as the down and dirties.
Interesting!
