DITCH THE STOCKS AND GO FOR VADER!

A "Telescoping Lightsaber” Darth Vader (1978) to be exact. Looks and acts like all the other old Kenner® toy Vaders you’ve seen, with one small exception. The lightsaber. The first run of this legendary toy had what’s called a telescoping saber. It was similar to the later versions in that it would rise out of the action figure's arm. However, the only difference was a thinner piece that would rise even further from the saber itself.
Unfortunately, the design was discontinued because of its tendency to easily break.  It’s been reported that there are only 100 or so of these prized possessions out there. The latest asking price: $6000

FOREIGN LANGUAGE FRIDAYS

[Today’s language is Icelandic]

Me?

EBAY ODDBALL FIND: POLICE ACADEMY ACTION FIGURE

I doubt Police Academy's Eugene Tackleberry could hold his own against any Star Wars action figure. That being said, I’m quite sure he could beat the living snot out of any ‘80s G.I. Joe doll – definitely a wimpy, little He-Man or a Thundercat. Either way, at $9.95, this fine, crafted version of Eugene Tackleberry (in S.W.A.T gear) is an absolute steal. Click to buy.
