KIM KARDASHIAN'S CLEAVAGE SHOT AND OTHER ODD SUPER BOWL BETS.

by Biz-Boy (NWM Staff Writer)

It’s that time of year for me to lose big again. Well big, by my standards. This week the office Super Bowl pool is being tossed around. I'm usually able to exercise some semblance of will power and buy just one box. Of course once Friday rolls around I tend to breakdown and uncontrollably snag the rest of the blank squares. Last year I was the proud owner of 18 losing boxes. Some "1 boxer" from accounting took 2 out of the 4 quarters. My other stupid thing is I have Super Box Blindness. For the life of me I can never seem to choose a box that’s in a totally different (vertical and horizontal) row from my other picks.

This year I'm tempted to F-it all and take my chances on some of the stranger (yet CAN'T LOSE) bets being offered by Vegas and online bookies. Here's the line on the odd odds, courtesy of docsports.com and bodog.

How long will it take Carrie Underwood to sing the national anthem?
Over/under is set at 1:42

Color of Gatorade dumped on the winning coach.
Yellow 1/1
Clear Water 7/5
Red 25/2

Will a member of The Who smash a guitar?
Yes (+135) / No (-165)

How many times will Kimmy K. be flashed on screen?
Site refused to report the odds on this one.

BONUS BETS:

Number of times Archie Manning will be shown during the game.
Oddsmakers are saying 2.5

First sideline reporter to appear after kickoff.
Front-runners are Solomon Wilcots and Steve Tasker.

How many times will CBS show Bourbon Street during the game.
Total is set at 2 and the over is -110.

MORE FASHION DESIGNERS SLUMMING IT FOR ‘10.

by KC (NWM Staff Writer)

Sure you could make a case for Jaclyn Smith and Kmart. Though to me, fashion maven Mizrahi was the real discount trailblazer back in ’02 when he teamed up with Target. And with this sucky economy still staying sucky, more and more high-end designers (real and faux) are creating lines for moderate to lower priced stores. Here are 4 to keep on your radar…

OLSENBOYE (Olsen Twins) @ JC Penny
Chic tomboy styles at reasonable prices. No word if their trademark BIG-ass sunglasses are in the mix.

SONIA RYKIEL @ H&M
Has that French runway feel without bursting your budget, or end up in the trash if you decide not to buy.

KARDASHIANS( Kim, Khloe $ Kourtney) @ Bebe
Hot clothes for those reality-based sexy nights.

NICOLE RICHIE @ House of Harlow
Hits all stores next month. My money is on a bohemian chic look.

by Jani Ogglin (NWM Staff Writer)

PROS VS. JOES: Still ticked off you missed your major league shot in life? Well here’s your second chance. The Network “powers that be” are looking for football or basketball semi-could-have-beens. LAST DAY FOR TRYOUTS IS TODAY!!!!

OXYGEN’S BAD GIRLS: Looking for a new bounty of bitches with beauty. Oh, and you must be willing to lounge around in a beautiful mansion all day. Search ends 1/22/10.

Mtv’s PARENTAL CONTROL: Calling all rebellious teens with uber-angst willing to put it aside for say, a couple of weeks. Mtv is looking for a bunch of 18-21 yr olds that'll let their parents interview and choose their next girl or boyfriend. Pays 250 bucks. Search is over 3/5/2010.

“FAKE & ENHANCED” RUMORS ARE NOW ABOUT KARDASHIAN’S SHOW.

by KC (NWM Staff Writer)

Is the Kardashian reality show not so real??

That’s what Khloe Kardashian’s ex (NBA’s Rashad McCants) told Page Six. He says it's "completely fake".

SO HOW CAN YOU TELL IF YOUR FAVE REALITY STARS ARE PLAYING YOU FOR A FOOL?

  • At times it seems like a scene has multiple odd cuts and relevant footage is missing.
  • Scenes seem too perfect (have a definite resolve unlike in real reality).
  • Characters end a scene by giving that classic “Soap Opera” look of frustration directly into the camera.
  • An overkill of rage-filled fights.
  • Corny contrived humor.

YOU BE THE JUDGE.
