Whew! Casey Affleck's cinematic opus has been released just in time for the Oscar race. I'M STILL HERE is a raw, unabashed look at Joaquin Phoenix's rise from actor to uber-super-rapper. Rotten Tomatoes, The Jewish Daily Forward, and The Seattle Times surprisingly gave the documentary semi-positive reviews. No official word on opening weekend box office tallies yet. Film will be in limited release until Yom Kippur weekend.

This was truly not worth mentioning! You never commented on the new post I made about you. Lame-o!
ReplyDeleteUgh! He needs to just go away. Both he and Casey Afleck!
ReplyDeleteI thought he died?
ReplyDeleteYou are hilarious, with the Jewish under(over)tones. I didn't know Casey's Jewish. I'm going to see if he's on Jdate.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your sweet comment, and happy new year!

PS Detector is the real douche, but we all know this already.
The dude is seriously messed up.
ReplyDeleteScary crazy,, unlike us..we are cool crazy!
ReplyDeleteI still think it is a stunt. Phoenix just went all Kaufman on all of us for some attention. I mean, his meltdown came during the peak of his success where he was receiving good roles. It's all just way too suspect. Will I see it though? Of course I will.
ReplyDeleteI sneak on from my hotel room in Virginia Beach to say hello to all my favorite people in my computer box, and what greets me? This fugly dude! Gee thanks.
