CROSS THAT OFF MY BUCKET LIST


Last night one of my friends ordered a round of pickleback shots to toast a buddy. I assumed it was some fruity concoction, but sadly no!  

A pickelback is a shot of whisky with (wait for it) a chaser of real pickle juice. So of course I did it. And you know, it wasn’t half bad. It tasted like a spiked cheeseburger if that makes any sense. FYI…it also didn’t repeat on me at 2am either. Double bonus.

    Well, sometimes food/drink combinations that sound bad actually taste good! I still don't know if I'd want to try this...

    I drink pickle juice, so this sounds like a no brainer for me. I'd do it with cocktail onion liquid too. Yums! So, did you eat your friend's pickle, or am I allowed to ask that?

    I kind of like the taste of pickles, would I mix pickles and booze? Not so sure. Still, it's not the worst beer I've ever heard of, that would probably be the toe shot.

    I like pickle juice, but not pickles. I hate shots of any kind. Nope, I wouldn't like it. :)
