I mean ok, the movie might’ve sucked, but it still had a moral. The world will end December 21, 2012 (so say the Mayans). Sadly no existence will be a bummer. Thankfully we will miss the 25-year “X-mas” rerelease of The Garbage Pail Kids Movie on Blu-ray. So I guess that’s one for the positive column. Any others?

We won't have to worry about taking down Christmas decorations.
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of worried about the world ending too but if it happens, it happens! Here's hoping 2012 is a good year to you buddy and that we'll make the horribly unlucky sounding 2013.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to think 2012 won't suck. No one wants their last year to suck.
ReplyDeleteSorry Mark, it is going to suck!
ReplyDeleteAnother positive. No more Kardashians (I'm quite certain when the world ends there is a special place in hell for them). hee hee
ReplyDeleteit's alright, we'll just send Bruce Willis to handle whatever 2012 throws at us. He's a pro at this.
ReplyDeleteAs Doris said... que sera sera, whatever will be, will be, the future's not ours to see, que sera sera.
ReplyDeleteOh, yeah, Happy New Year, Jesse!
ReplyDeletei hope you had an incredible end and beginig of year.
ReplyDeletegreat post =)
The Mayans were a bloodthirsty bunch. I wouldn't take much stock in what they said. I guess the sun might give us some trouble this year but hopefully it won't be too bad.
ReplyDeleteActually the whole thing about the world ending is absolute garbage. If you do follow the Mayan beliefs, however, then you will find that the world won't so much as end, as have every living thing destroyed of the surface except for two that will start a new dominant race.
ReplyDeleteAt least that's what I've read...
best part of that movie the music
ReplyDeleteThe what now?
ReplyDeleteI won't have to clean the house. Total bonus. OH! And I won't have to visit any obnoxious relatives!!! WOO HOOO!
ReplyDeleteAlex sent me, your humor captured me.
ReplyDeletehere from Alex's blog. I'm a new follower! Even though I actually liked this movie...
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to not having to shop for Christmas. ;-p
ReplyDeleteNo worries! You can watch the Garbage Pail Kids on Netflix. I didn't even know there was a movie made about them, despite the fact I collected them in Elementary School.
I did put that date on my calendar. Guess I won't start Christmas shopping early.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many people will actually go to Yellowstone to watch it all start :) Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHaha, gotta the love the song to the Garbage Pail Kids Movie too: "When you get sent to the principal, you can be a Garbage Pail Kid!"
