By now you regular people (aside from us nerds) know that a new spider-man film will be in theaters this summer. The spider-kid will be played by that actor dude from the Social Network. Sorry, too lazy to imdb it.
Anyhow, while walking in NYC I saw the spray painted spidey symbol wedged between two cars. I quickly put 1 and 1 together and realized I must’ve witnessed my first guerilla placed ad for the movie. Pretty neat. Right?
That is, indeed, pretty awesome.
ReplyDeleteSocial Network guy is hot. Good job, casting dudes and ladies.
ReplyDeleteBitter?
ReplyDeleteThe tag is cool as hell, but ach...I just don't know about this Spiderman retcon.
ReplyDeleteAccording to my homeboy, Ace, it's supposed to fill in the gaps or is part of the actual canon somewhere for either the comics or some such...hell, I don't even remember.
HE'S hyped as hell about it though. Reckon I'll give it a shot, but I'm wary of anything Hollyweird does when it comes to sequels and retcons.
Just from the pictures I've seen of the new movie it looks like a darker Spiderman. I saw all the other ones and I guess I would try this movie out too.
ReplyDeleteI will definetely be seeing this. That add is pretty neat.
ReplyDeleteI hope it is a guerrilla ad. Seeing as it's NYC, where Spidey is from, I think it's likely.
ReplyDeleteWow now that is cool, man I can't wait to see this film, I love the whole guerilla advertising thing too, can't wait!
ReplyDeleteVery cool. The Spiderman symbol, not the fact you can't afford those cars.
ReplyDeletei`m always game for a bit of spiderbloke.
ReplyDeleteThat is cool! What's not cool is how long it's been since I've been to your blog. I'm going to try to be better at stopping by. You always crack me up!
ReplyDeleteI live in a tiny town. We don't get guerilla ads. That would be cool to see.
ReplyDeleteI think I will go spray paint something.
Gang tag...did anyone see you take this picture??? Watch your back there in Gotham.
