My sister has Elvis albums from the fifties, but I don't think they are in good shape. I do wish I could find something worth thousands at a garage sale or flea market, but I haven't yet. I found a Cree Bible published in 1861. It's worth $600 and I paid $20. Can't find a buyer though.
Hope our grandkids will find some value in their grandpa's records. We don't have a basement, hubby just has his vinyl all over the place!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if my dad's still got all his vinyl records
ReplyDeleteThat's the problem with homes these days. No basement.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a basement and my attic is dangerous to tread in to.
ReplyDeleteI would never be so lucky. My parents threw everything that was worth anything now away when they got divorced.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is definitely a piece of treasure, I'd be pleased if I found this bad boy lying around.
ReplyDeleteNothing is so sweet as free money.
ReplyDeleteI'd probably find mice.

ReplyDeletemom would kill me if I sold anything of hers with elvis
ReplyDeleteI found a skull in my grandparents basement...it was unfinished and had earthen walls and floor way in the back...it was just a mouse though!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a basement. If I did, I'm sure there would be evil things down there... Or is that a cellar?
ReplyDeleteI have all my vinyl, including Meet The Beatles. I also kept my 8-track tapes because they will make a comeback someday.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Lola
