MY GUINEA PIG MIGHT HAVE A UTI

That's a urinary tract infection. It happens as a result of guinea pigs dragging their butts so close to the ground. As a result they tend to get this dreadful-ish ailment. I'm very worried for Bailey (my guinea pig's name). But part of me is even more worried about the price of the tiny medicine to help her. Am I evil for think that blogosphere?

  4. No, you aren't evil for worrying about it-- you'd be evil if you just decided you wanted new shoes instead of taking her to the vet. I've always found that to be the toughest part of pet ownership. Good luck, and I hope she gets better.

  5. Awwww I hope the little thing is okay. You aren't quite evil for thinking of the cost of the tiny medicine, but you would be if you let that stop you treating the little guinea pig.

  6. Poor Bailey. Thinking about the cost isn't evil, denying her the meds would be.

  7. Have you ever had a UTI? They hurt like a mo-fo. Get that baby anything she needs and do without something you want but don't really need.
