If you do find yourself right at the bottom of Nepal’s most famous mountain, drag your ass to Everest BaseCamp Restaurant.
From 3 minutes of google searching it looks like the only must-eat place in town.
Here’s how much it’ll cost you if you’re dining for one.
Tibetan broth – 5,00 euro
Chicken aloo mushroom – 15,50 euro
Kathmandu Noodles – 11,00 euro
Mango Cream – 4,00 euro
Total cost = 35,50 euro / $48.84
That's some damn expensive food; how about the quality?
ReplyDeleteIt is a pretty place for a base camp. I'd have to pass on the Tibetan Broth. I don't like the taste of Tibetans.
ReplyDeleteWhat? No Denny's in the area?
ReplyDeletethanks for blog of the day!!!
I appreciate it.
Quite a costly meal for one.
ReplyDelete.. Expensive?
ReplyDeleteAnyway. I wanna try that mango cream.
i can't believe there isn't a mcdonalds there yet.
ReplyDeletePretty little restaurant, the food not so much, especially the nasty looking mess referred to as 'Tibetan broth'.
ReplyDeleteDo you know what $48 can buy you at MaccieD's???
ReplyDeleteAt least it looks kinda tasty.
ReplyDeleteUmmmm, looks appetizing??? Those are Finnish prices. Bush league.
ReplyDeleteI thought it would be dearer and nicer but not a lot of business I suppose?
ReplyDeleteDespite the expense I would love to go and check this out. It would be worth visiting for the view alone for sure.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised that there are no Golden Arches there yet.
ReplyDeleteThat better be some delicious food! O.o
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it costs a lot to get the food delivered there. It almost seems worth going just for the look of the place though.
ReplyDeleteSounds reasonable.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll take a packed lunch.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'll ever find myself there, but it looks like a lovely restaurant. That Mango Cream dessert looks great too!
ReplyDeleteimo thats way worth it
ReplyDeleteDecent prices and that food looks very tasty. If i happen to be there (naah i don't think it's going to happen) i will have lunch there for sure.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's just me, but that good does not look very tasty at all.
ReplyDeleteWhere's the Colonel? Bring in the Colonel!
Might as well have a nice meal before you may possibly maybe die.
ReplyDeleteThe Mango Cream looks pretty good!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if I can get eggs friend in Yak butter? With a side of Yak milk? mmmm, mmmmm good! I wonder how long it takes for their deliveries to get there? hahaha
ReplyDeleteThat's very expensive food. Remember when humans just ate for free? you know, whatever they hunted or gathered?
ReplyDeleteyeah me either.
Volvo C70 Turbo
ReplyDeleteThis is a better-quality article as they all are. I make fun of been wonder wide this an eye to some beat now. Its great to receive this info. You are fair and balanced.
Expensive meal, but hey, put it on your charge card. If you're going to try to summit Everest afterward you will very likely die, and never have to pay that bill! Full tummy, experience of flying, win-win! :^)
