HOW MUCH DOES A FIRST TIME SANTA MAKE?
Usually they start you at about $100 per hour.
HOW MUCH FOR THE VETERAN SANTA?
Somewhere in the neighborhood of $175 to 200.
ARE THOSE RATES STANDARD THROUGH THE WHOLE SEASON?
Christmas Eve and day you could get an hourly pay upwards of 300 bucks.
DO YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THE UNIFORM?Yep. A good suit could run you anywhere from $500 to $1000.
HOW MANY DAYS ARE SANTAS NEEDED?
40.
SO WHAT'S THE MOST YOU COULD MAKE FOR THE SEASON?
If you nab a corporate gig or private party on top of the mall hours you can expect to bring in about 10 grand.

A Santa that's still doing a mall gig on Christmas day, could hardly be believable, now could he? Kids would think he's slacking on his real duties.
ReplyDeleteI have never wanted to be Santa before.
ReplyDeletethey certainly earn their $$$!
ReplyDeleteI could live off 10k for a whole year, that's crazy. Time to gain 100 more pounds and dye my hair and beard white.
ReplyDelete$10,000....I need to google santa suits, size won't be an issue....
ReplyDeleteWow 10Gs?!? Who's laughing now, huh? Now that's a sweet part time gig.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow that's a lot. I wish I knew where I could be a mall santa around here.
ReplyDeleteI guess 10K per year could buy you a nice estate on the North Pole.
ReplyDeleteHappy Chanukah.

With all those screaming crying kids, they work hard for their money!
ReplyDeleteWow, I honestly had no idea that those mall Santas earned that much. This all reminds me I seriously need to check out that film Bad Santa again this year, in my opinion it's a Christmas classic, haha!
ReplyDeleteDamn, where do I sign up for next year?!
ReplyDeleteHOLY COW!!! Santa is making bank!!
ReplyDeletethats actually a pretty sweet deal :D
ReplyDeleteThis might be the new income plan when Social Security falls through.
ReplyDeleteIf that's real, then I'm buying the suit so I can be a female Santa. No Mrs. Santa shit for me. All she gets to do is bake cookies and sleep with that fat fuck.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Lola
If mall Santas make that much, I think they are falsely portrayed on TV. You see, on TV, they are always drunk, broke and homeless.
ReplyDeleteI guess I shouldn't always believe what I see on the tube!
Now I go to find a Santa suit and the nearest mall!
Wow! You'd only need to work 40 days a year!
ReplyDeleteThat much? I'm in the wrong line of work...
ReplyDeleteWow. $100 an hour?! That's more than I pay my hooker. LMAO
ReplyDeleteDang....I knew I shouldn't have lost all this weight. I could be making big bucks. Oh wait...I guess I'd have to have a deeper voice, huh?
ReplyDeleteThat's It! I'm bulking up and making some dough next year...who friggin' knew? I am so glad I learned this!
ReplyDeleteI had no idea that mall Santas made this much per hour! I think that money is well deserved. I can only imagine what they go through with all those screaming kids!
ReplyDeleteDamn!
ReplyDeleteI was a Santa a couple of years ago and all I got was bit by a GD dog...
