I don’t know about you, but I’m always looking for the Amazon customer reviews for stuff I’m about to buy. To me it’s the best “word of mouth / buyer beware” advice you can get. And yes, some of the negative reviews can be quite humorous. Though I have to admit my new guilty pleasure is reading the positive reviews for um let’s just say less popular products. FYI…these are real reviews. No joke. Oh and double FYI, yes I’m a blue stater bleedin’ heart liberal who is somewhat luke warm to NASCAR®.
Reviews for the Long Toy Gun Sniper Rifle with Scope and light (only $19.99 on Amazon)
This is a great toy gun for kids, it is really a great load of fun i give it 5:5 stars
This gun is awesome! The size surprised me, the picture does not show the quality of this gun. Don't be surprised if you are blown away by this toy. RECOMMENDED!
Top 10 best gun of all time. The kids love it and cant put it down. Their friends have all bought 1 as well. Very good quality and durability. 10/10
My son has a collection of toy guns in his closet and usually is not as enthusiastic about a new one until we got him this toy sniper, its nice to see him have soo much fun in pretend play sometimes i wish i was a kid again.
I want that... but for me... and mostly to make my neighbors think I am more psycho than they currently do.
ReplyDeleteI grew up in the 60's and had 4 older brothers. They didn't have electronics etc. for entertainment. They rustled up all the kids in the neighborhood and played "Guns". It was the best fun I can remember. They had their toy guns, they were on teams, they hid and pulled sniper shots and when they wanted to know where so and so was hiding, they bribed the little sister with candy or gum. They all grew up and none of them are mass murderers or assassins. If kids do that now, the parents are about hung for allowing it. Times have changed.
ReplyDeleteTimes have changed. In my day we got bb guns.
ReplyDeletelol 5/5 stars eh?
ReplyDeleteI want that toy gun!
ReplyDeleteblows me away what they sell for kids on line.
ReplyDeletewhen i was a kid...that! that would have been the toy to get!
ReplyDeleteNeed to start them young, to be good little snipers. Never know when it might come in handy.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I can train my kids to snipe the rabbits that keep eating my flowers!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for blog of the day!
Parents, proudly endorsing violence! Who'da thunk it?
ReplyDeleteParenting FAIL. >:(
ReplyDeleteHoly crap. What an utterly lovely toy for a child.
ReplyDeleteI’m blogging my way back from Z to A and yes, I do realize that is evidence of my insanity.

hey man, i'm quite sure my books which are already available for pre-order on amazon will be rather unpopular too. maybe you can feature them once the covers are released :0)
ReplyDeleteenjoy your weekend, jesse!
Ahhh, everyone is caught up in the Bin Laden emotions. How nice.
ReplyDeleteThe perfect toy for the little assassin / serial killer in the making ; )
ReplyDeleteI don't mind toy guns that look like toy guns, but this one looks real. Kind of scarey if someone thought your kid had a real rifle walking around the neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I agree with Barb. I don't think it hurts kids to play with toy guns. We all did it when we were kids in the fifties. They did look like toys though. My grandsons were not allowed guns so they picked up sticks and made guns and swords.
>Don't be surprised if you are blown away by this toy.
ReplyDeleteuhhhhh
This made me laugh and inspired me to look up reviews for things like tampons. Funny stuff!
ReplyDeleteOne word came to mind as I read those reviews - rednecks!
ReplyDeleteHey, i used to have toy guns ;_;
ReplyDeletebut then again i am a mass murderer
Throw a kid a toy gun! What could possibly go wrong?! :D
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable. Yet strangely funny, in a sad sort of way.
ReplyDeletekids and toys guns, can't say I ever agreed with that one. Me and a toy gun on the other hand equals fun
ReplyDeleteI never really did quite get the allure of toy guns...but I do remember playing with my cousin's silver toy pistol when I was little, thinking it was much cooler than my doll. He would get ticked off at me whenever he'd "shoot" me and I would not pretend to die. Ha ha ha. Memories. Now don't be alarmed..but I do have a gun. A real live one. And I know how to use it, too. In fact, I beat hubby at target shooting the first time out. Ha. Bet you didn't know I was a redneck.
