Chef Boyardee Meat Tortellini: As authentic Italian you’re going to get from a can. The pasta is al dente. The sauce has a rich tomato taste, with a strong hint of basil. Though, if you’re looking for something on the hearty side you might be slightly underwhelmed.

Unless I'm without power and starving, I'd prefer hot.
ReplyDeleteF*ck it. If I'm desperate, I know I'll dig in there and eat it.
ReplyDeleteI think I missed the other two :( My all time favorite, spaghetti O's with meatballs. Healthy, right?! And like you, I somehow enjoy them cold. But maybe that was because I was a drunk in college, haha.

Nice. I'm very lazy. :P
ReplyDeleteI never liked the canned stuff.
ReplyDeleteI'll put it beside the baked beans.
ReplyDeleteCold? Hmmmmm Pass
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty cool actually, it's a decent concept. I'd probably stay away from it though despite that.... Nice post as always!
ReplyDeleteStill better than bread in a can.
ReplyDeleteLeave it to Chef Boyardee to make something I secretly want.
ReplyDeleteSucks to only have an electric can opener...
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like frat night 45 years ago. BTW...isn't that about the shelf life of those tinned meals?

I take it you've eaten this recently?
ReplyDeleteNo thank you. I believe I'll starve.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Lola
If you lose power, there is probably enough nuclear waste in the can to perform cold fusion. That orange color is not something found in nature.
ReplyDeleteI've never even seen this version. BLECH!
ReplyDeleteI dont think I could eat Chet Boyardee under normal circumstances. If there were a zombie take over of the world, I would make an exception though.
ReplyDeleteMy wife loves to eat Spaghetti-O's cold out of the can. That just grosses me out. I suspect this would do the same...and she would do the same.
ReplyDeleteThere was a time when I loved this stuff. I usually heated it up first though...
