8 THINGS I’M 72.8% SURE YOU DON’T KNOW ABOUT THE ASIAN GHOST KID FROM THE GRUDGE

1-The kid’s name is Yuya Ozeki and he was born on June 5th, 1996.

2-Yuya has also played the ghost kid in the Japanese version Ju-On.

3-He is deathly afraid of cats.

4-In the Grudge Director’s cut DVD you can see a more gruesome version of Toshio’s (Yuya) death scene.

5-On average, Japanese male kids will grow to a height of 5’ 5” by the time they reach full adulthood.

6-In 2005 The Grudge was nominated for a Saturn award in the category of Best Horror Film.

7-It took 2 hours to apply the white makeup to Yuya’s head and body.

8-The Grudge is #4 on the all-time list of top grossing horror movies (it raked in a total of $110 million).

  4. Japanese movie ghosts and monsters are much more terrifying to me than American ones.I have to go and make tea during the scary parts. Freddy and Jason are almost cosy by comparison.

  5. Ah! That kid is the source of 95% of my nightmares. I'm a little freaked out now, just thinking about him opening his mouth. Eek!
