NAME THAT MALL MUZAK

In 1986 this song rocketed to the top of the billboard charts. It also received a grammy nomination in 1987. Though perhaps it is most famous for being linked to 80s teen idol (and newest Dancing with the Stars sensation) Ralph Macchio
Muzak Holdings LLC added a version of this tune to malls and elevators in the spring of ’88.

What song is it?

  3. I had a knockdown, dragged out fight with a boy in first grade over the lyrics to this song.

Years later, I'm still the winner.

  8. For a second, I thought it was You're The Best by Joe Esposito. It's the only song I associate with Karate Kid. Imagine that playing in a mall.

I always thought Peter Cetera never reached the same level as he had with Chicago... Quality wise...
