Seems a lot of Nursing Homes are not very accommodating when it comes to this popular past time. In most care facilities there are no areas that folks can go for complete privacy. The nursing home owners claim that they need to do this for obvious medical emergency reasons. However, this is in complete violation of the Nursing Home Reform Act of 1987. The law states specifically that the institution is required to ``maintain a senior citizen’s highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.''

In other words, let them have locks on their doors so they at least have something fun to do after Wheel of Fortune.
