PERSONALLY, I THINK THE JERRY SEINFELD SANDWICH SHOULD SWITCH WITH SLY STALLONE.

Celebrity Sandwich Shop on 171 Islington Street in Portsmouth, New Hampshire offers local residents literally over 100 deli delights. Their staff has also been cited as extremely courteous. All-in-all, it’s a great place for lunch or takeout. HOWEVER, my personal beef (sorry) with this establishment has to do with some of the sandwich names. One in particular is The Jerry Seinfeld. It consists of Ham, Cream Cheese and Olive. Now while I applaud their chefs for linking the celebrity to just the right ingredients, I feel in this case they missed the essence of Jerry. True he is a comedian, so ham is definitely appropriate. Though I kinda feel like he’s also got the Jewish thing pretty prominent in his act. Which would (for obvious God / Kosher reasons) negate the use of ham. If I may continue to nitpick I’d probably use the same logic for their Joan Rivers and Gary Shandling Ham sandwiches. An easy solution would be to toss all 3 into the corned beef / pastrami category with Sly (Corned Beef or Pastrami, Salami & Cheddar). Again, great sandwiches, this is just my 2 cents.
