Friday the 13th, not a great day for bad luck believers. If you’re looking for a bit more magical defense than the “salt over the shoulder” standby, here’s a free good luck spell that might help. Courtesy of Everything Under The Moon.

THE GOOD LUCK HERB JAR

Counters bad luck and jump-starts a good-luck streak.

Step 1. Fill a jar with any combination of the following magical herbs:

Buckthorn Bark, 
Chamomile 
Clover, 
Dandelion 
Frankincense, 
Heal-all 
Honeysuckle, 
Huckleberry Leaves, 
Irish Mos,s 
Job's Tears, 
High John the Conqueror, 
Khus-khus, 
Lotus, 
Lucky Hand root, 
Mistletoe, 
Mojo Wish Bean, 
Myrrh 
Nutmeg, Peony Root, 
Queen of the Meadow, 
Rose Hips, 
Rosemary, 
Sacred Bark, 
Sandalwood, 
Spearmint, 
Star Anise, 
Thyme, 
Tonka Bean.

Step 2. Seal jar tightly.

Step 3. To induce good luck, simply place hands on the jar and recite the following…

To God and Goddess do I pray. 
Guide me through another day. 
Let good fortune come my way. 
Good luck hither, now I say.

Step 4. After incantation shake jar, kiss it and put away.

Should be good for 24 hours of luck.
