FAMOUS COMEDIAN SHUNS JUDAISM FOR VOODOO.

by KC (NWM Staff Writer)

It seems that Joan Rivers is coplatzing (made up Yiddish-sounding word meaning worried) over ghosts. According to eh-reliable sources Ms. Rivers has hired voodoo priestess Sally Ann Glassman to exorcise a pesky demon from her palatial NY apartment. Sally has been exorcising ghosts since she was 13. No word on her monetary compensation.

FYI…this spiritual disturbance will in no way disrupt Joan’s scheduled appearance at the Laurie Beechman Theater (in NYC) this Wednesday. Tickets are still available for $30

  1. Good thing she switched to voodoo. She looks like a damn zombie. Oh yeah she's totally on my shitlist after making disparaging comments about CoCo!

  4. I am a member of Sallie Ann's temple and I am also a Catholic. Vodou does not have the hang ups like most religions in that you don't have to be solely one or the other. Vodou is also the most misunderstood religion out there. It is not evil-though evil people can twist it- Vodou is all about healing, balance and love. ANd, to the money issue, unlike organized religions, Vodou priestesses do not collect a salary, they arn't given a house, or car by their congregation. They could not live if they did what they did for free.

  6. Hey there! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog.
Is it very hard to set up your own blog? I'm not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I'm thinking about making my own but I'm not sure where to begin. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Many thanks
