Recently combing through google shopping and ebay for taxidermy-themed gift ideas. From the looks of things, stuffed deer (mounted head and full body) seem to be not as popular as those wascallly wabbits. If I had to venture a guess I’d say it has nothing to do with the woodland creatures themselves. This is purely based on price point.
Here’s what you’re looking at cost-wise for a deer…

LIFE-SIZE ANIMAL TAXIDERMY DEER REPLICA ($9,999 @ ebay)
MOUNTED DEER HEAD w/ ANTLERS ($1,200 @ Newel.com)
And here are what rabbits are gonna run you…

How much would a hamster run me?
ReplyDeletebeyond creepy.I seem to remember Johnny Knoxville taking his g'ma to a taxidermist to see if they would preserve her and how much it would run.
