6 QUESTIONS FOR VIDEO GAME TESTER.


So what kind of money are we talking about?

You can make anywhere from $10 – 100 bucks per hour. Usually you make around $15 starting out.




What kind of hours do you work?

Nothing is set in stone. Some days you might be floating from game to game for 3 hours. Other times they’ll have you on one game for like 12 hours.




What’s the most important part of the job?

Priority #1 is finding bugs within the game.




So can you work from home in your boxers?

Nope. It’s an office job. Designers aren’t too keen lending out games because of potential piracy problems.




What kind of background do you need?

Computer programming, specializing in gamer design.




Any other skills?

You need to be extremely detail oriented and a decent writer.
