Fact is any halfway decent bottle of Mexican tequiladoes NOT contain a worm. That's pretty much an American gimmick used to boost sales. Tequila worms are traditionally found in certain bottles of Mescal.
Damn shame ruining good tequila with a nasty worm. I saw a snake in a bottle at the liquor store once. The day I start drinking that shit, I'm hoping one of my friends chain me to a chair in AA.
I never understood the interest people have in that damn worm. I prefer my booze to be straight from the bottle and not have anything floating/sunken in it.
A little protein while drinking can never be a bad thing...
ReplyDeletei don't drink, but i'd never go near tequila just because of the worm factor.

ReplyDeleteCan you imagine how drunk those worms are?
