These days it's a bit harder to track down a bottle of the blush bubbly. Post 80s (after the wine cooler craze), this iconic alcoholic beverage from E & J Gallo Winery kinda took a dive in sales. Though I have seen packs at super duper liquor stores. Except now they’re simply called B&J. Oh, and most of their flavors center around mixed drinks like Piña Coladas, Cosmopolitan, Mojitos, Sangria and a Fuzzy Navel.
Little know fact, the guys that played Frank Bartles and Ed Jaymes were regular folks with zero acting experience before they were casted. Today, David Joseph Rufkahr (Frank) is retired from the ad biz. While Dick Maugg (Ed) sadly passed away from a heart attack in April of ’96.
