THOSE CRAZY COLLEGE KIDS AND THEIR BOXED WINE.

Who’d a thunk you could have so much fun with a carton of booze. Yet, thanks to those brilliant university, state and community college minds you can NOW host your very own TOUR DE FRANZIA.

WHAT YOU NEED...

  • 14 to 24 boxes of Franzia (see visual below) should do the trick.
  • Lots of cups and shot glasses.

THE RULES:

This incredibly involved drinking game is similar to the T.D. France in that it too is broken into multiple stages and there are teams (3 is optimum). Oh and the game takes place over 21 days.

STAGE 1. TIME TRIAL

Both teams line up around the table with cups of wine. The goal here (after the start of the game) is to be the first person to chug your wine and flip your cup right side up. Winner receives 1 pt. See Flip Cup video below for reference.

STAGE 2. MOUNTAIN STAGE

For this part of the game you will need 8 shot glasses per team. Wine is poured into all the glasses. The objective here is each player (in sequence) must drink a shot. The 8th team player must also drink the shot, but then bring the glass to another area of the table and try to sink a quarter in it.

Winners receive 2 pts. / Losers get 1pt.

STAGE 3. TEAM RACE

Each team gets a giant cup of wine. Once you begin, each teammate takes turns drinking from the cup and passes it off 'til it's finished. Then similar to the first stage, the empty cup must be flipped right side up.

3 pts. for first place / 2 pts. for second place / 1 pt. for third place

WHAT NOW?

Rotate the 3 stages over 21 days, add up the points and you'll have your winner.

FYI...there's a documentary too...

  2. First off - gross video! I have drink wine, but I love how boxed wine is the going joke. Once someone brought some to one of those lame-ass jewelery parties and I accidentally said, "Ha ha, boxed wine." - Sadly, the woman didn't bring it as a joke. EEEK!
