I had talent. I really did. There was no doubt. Unfortunately like all kids that age, I threw all of my imagination away for real toys (made by the man) like the Atari 2600, 2XL Robot, and the Millenium Falcon. If I had only kept it up, who knows. Maybe I could’ve competed at the US Air Guitar Championships 20 plus years later. Or better still, been inducted into the US Air Guitar Hall of Fame.
- Competitive circuit founded in 2003
- In competition an air guitarist’s performance must only last 60 seconds.

The other day air quotes, today air guitars. Maybe you can keep it going and do a little something on Air Supply. I'm a closet fan. Really.I never knew they had competitions. I mean, I think it sounds familiar, but that's really funny.

I'd watch air guitar a la Air Supply any day. ;)
ReplyDeleteI didn't know Hello Kitty played air guitar. I have a new respect for her. Very good, funy post - especially with the Fred Flintstone underoo image.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Robyn
PS add "n" to funy.
ReplyDeleteNow THAT'S talent!
ReplyDeleteCouldn't get past the Underoos part. *chuckle
ReplyDeleteMy boys are 38, 33, 31 and I still have their Underoos!

ReplyDeleteThat was an air comment...
Excellent Billy Joel song, though that one I would say is more about the drums.
ReplyDeleteBut, 'Magic' by Olivia Newton John... things are starting to make sense now. lol
I never knew they had competitions! I so would have continued practicing after Jr. High!
ReplyDeletePat Tillett just wrote one of the funniest things I have ever read....
ReplyDeleteAir comment.... Fantastic. Can't be beat.
