See to me, the most insane part isn’t the act of getting some object stuck inside of the body. I mean, that can be chalked up to 4 explainable motivating factors…
Rage
Act of passion gone wrong
Lack of a developed Superego
Loss of inhibitions due to alcohol or drugs
Personally, I think the craziest part would be the next day when the person has sobered up. When he or she is sitting in the doc's examining room trying to explain (or lie) about how this object mysteriously appeared inside their body. That's gotta be a hoot.
SHE’LL NEVER THINK TO LOOK IN THE RIB CAGE. Stop me if you heard this one. A UK bloke walks into the jeweler. He’s shopping for engagement rings for his girlfriend. Unfortunately, he has no money. So when the jeweler turns around, down the throat a ring goes. 3 days later it pops out, and the police put him away for 3 to 10.
THE OL’ KEY IN THE ABDOMEN TRICK. A student from Bournemouth University experienced the best night of drinking in his life. It was so incredible he did the only logical thing to prevent the night from ending. He made it impossible for his friends to get him in the dorm room. Now you see the key...
THE GIRL'S GOT STONES. In 2006 a Chinese woman got into an argument with her boyfriend. To teach him a lesson he’d never forget, she downed not 2, not 6, but 20 cobblestones…without a chaser.
AND THE KID REALLY TRIED THIS AT HOME. Long story short, a boy swallowed a magnetic toy and it reassembled itself. Ta-Dah!
I love this kind of stuff. You just can't help but laugh.
ReplyDeleteCoud you imagine being the girlfriend of the guy who swallowed the ring? You couldn't clean that thing enough....
